Kristen and Margi come to town!!

I had a great time. That is about all I can say. I hadn't realized how much I miss having friends around to hang out with until they were here and we were hanging out. It was just alot of fun. As soon as I told my friends back in the States that I would be moving to Amsterdam, Kristen was the one to say that she would be coming over to visit. It was as if it was an accepted fact. And I knew that she would do it, so when I received her message with the flight her and Margi were going to be on, I knew we would be in for a good time. They came for about 2 weeks. We hung out in Amsterdam and I was able to show off some of my favorite spots - the sushi place, the pizza place, the park. We had plenty to eat, plenty to drink, and even had time to take a canal boat ride and catch an English comedy show. Over the weekend, we drove to Koln, Germany and saw the Cathedral, park, and went to a thermal bath. Yes, it was an "European" thermal bath - meaning clothes were definitely optional. We opted for them, but several people had opted for without. Quite the eye opening experience for them, but consistent with what I had already seen for myself and the stories I had heard. During the day while I was working, the girls would hang out in the city and I would meet them for dinner. It gave me an excuse to leave work at night which I loved having. So, enjoy the pictures, and hopefully I can talk the girls into coming back again next year..... Greece anyone?
