The tulips have arrived. Todd and I visited the fields the day after queens day in a nice and relaxing Sunday drive which included a stop at our new favorite Mexican place along the beach. We also visited a special tulip art area which included the painting mentioned below and fresh flower heads to design flower wreaths like this one (which I made myself)! It was great to finally see the flowers in full bloom - it reminds me of the corn fields of Indiana - only way more colorful and a much better smell. It was stunning.
