The church in the movie where the von Trapps were married. This is not actually the church they were married in though, they were actually married at the church in the nunery where Maria lived before becoming the governess. However, for movie purposes, this church was used. It was a nice church - the ceilings were painted white, however, eloborate frescos were discovered underneath so the church is trying to remove the white paint. One section (of about 40) had been completed (which took 3 years to restore). They are now trying to figure out how much of the church to restore.
