Here the flowers are moving past the buyers - about one cart every 7 seconds. As soon as the flowers are purchased, they leave the auction room and are tranported to the buyers warehouse, there is an electronic rail system that carries the carts over the highway and a distribution center where several buyers have offices to cut, organize and ship the product out. The auction starts at 6:30, ends at 10:30, the flowers are out of the auction house by 12:00 and 80% have been exported by the end of the day.
