TThe story of the St. Francis art dates back to the early 1000s. Over several hundred years, 2 religious groups in the town had several disagreements over the local church and land. St. Francis bridged these gaps and reconciled the groups bringing peace to the city. In honor of him, this piece was created with man and dog to symbolize peaceful living and friendship. It sits at the top of the cliff right beneath the church.
