Not a great picture, but another example of a memorial. This is outside the city university where under Hitler, several books were burned from the library as they were not acceptable reading. To memorize this spot, under the ground this library room was built. All of the bookshelves are empty and the room is painted entirely white. This was a very interesting memorial to see. However, you wouldn't even know it was there unless you walked over it (our tour guide showed us). Posted by Picasa
